This year our chapter supported the Buddy Walk for Downs Syndrome.  The young rider to the left is the grandson of one of our members and his family is very appreciative that we supported this very worthy charity.

Be sure to read the Creed to the left slowly and let the words sink in. After reading it, just remember that when you are out and see a child or an adult with Downs Syndrome that they to have feelings.

The words to the song "Don't Laugh at Me," by Brad Paisley may have been written in part with children and adults in mind who have been afflicted with this condition...

Don't laugh at me, don't call me names, don't get your pleasure from my pain.

In God's eyes we're all the same, someday we'll all have perfect wings, don't laugh at me.
